KAŞ TATTOO

For the uninitiated, Kaş tattoo can be a complicated affair, as the ink used is not for use on human skin, but on an animal skin. In most cases, tattoo artists use hypo-allergenic needles to prick the skin of the animal they plan to tattoo. The animal’s skin has glands that produce natural steroids that prevent infection and allergic reactions. Unfortunately, all those steroids are also poisonous to humans, so this is why tattoos on animals should be well sterilized before being tattooed. Kaş Tattoo also breaches the epidermis, meaning that other skin complications and infections are also possible, such as:

Lynx is a large cat found in forests of central Asia and China. It is often used as a hunting cat, since it has short, sharp claws that enable it to kill quickly. Because of this, it has been used in tattooing for centuries. Lynx body art is popular in many parts of the world, but the only known allergic reaction is from the tattoo ink, so this should not be a cause for worry if your tattoo artist uses Lynx.

As previously mentioned, all parts of the body can be kaş tattoo, but only the eyes are immunosuppressed during tattooing processes. So, anyone with an allergy to Lycopene or any other pigment that could produce an allergic reaction should avoid tattooing. The reason for this is because Lycopene is a carotenoid, which triggers an immune system response which leads to swelling, redness and itching. Anybody with an immune system deficiency may not be able to tell the difference between a tattoo that is made from Lycopene and a real pigmentation and, unless they have a history of allergic reactions to pigments, may not suffer from a negative reaction to Lynx during tattooing. However, some people with allergies may experience hives, headaches, and swelling after tattooing using Lynx.
